Charli Turner Thorne

Charli Turner Thorne served the Arizona State Sun Devils as head coach for a historic 25 years. The two-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year and two-time Olympic gold medalist with USA Basketball found much success on the court as the second highest career win holder in the PAC12, and even more off the court through her community impact.

Charli has used the game of basketball to spearhead innovative events such as the first ever outdoor women’s basketball game for a crowd of 18,000 (2000) and a nationally televised game on the Navajo Reservation honoring Native American Military veterans (2018). Charli ‘s community impact extends to having amassed 200 hours of community service each year through fantastic organizations such as the Jaclyn Foundation, Hope Women’s Center, Crisis Nursery, and United Way. Charli’s success on and off the court led City of Tempe Mayor Corey Woods to name June 21, 2021 “Charli Turner Thorne Day.” Charli was also inducted into the ASU Hall of Fame in October of 2022 and the Arizona Hall of Fame in April of 2024. Since retiring from coaching, Charli has remained loyal to her Sun Devils, becoming a Professor in the College of Health Solutions for ASU. She has also maintained her passion for basketball as a TV analyst for the Pac-12 Network, a college scout for the Phoenix Mercury, as well as a mentor women’s basketball coaches throughout their seasons. Charli is happily married to Will Thorne, and they have three children together.

Laura Wilde

Laura works in the emerging field of Holistic Mental Performance as a (mind-body) holistic practitioner, meditation coach, mental resilience and consistency specialist and is an advanced and certified practitioner of Quantum Healing Energy work. In other words – her work goes beyond the mind to the deeper connection an athlete can have with him or herself.

In 2012, Wilde created Sports Energy Medicine and Holistic Player Development. These fields fill the gap between the quantum and western practices for athletes so that building the whole person becomes the key in player development. This way, deep-level healing and a mentally resilient spirit becomes the greater purpose for player development and sports medicine.

Wilde is also the author of the following books: 'The Cosmic Athlete', 'Quantum Sports Medicine', 'Making the Team: 64 Ways to Succeed in School', 'Sports and Life and The Map of Your Future'. Her newest book 'The Unshakeable Athlete' is set for release later this year. Most athletes have yet to play their best game. Wilde helps athletes be mentally and physically resilient so they can get in the zone and be consistent and outstanding.
