Welcome to our Expansion and Inclusion Initiative. We strongly believe in partnering with those who are on the front lines, impacting positive change to the individuals and groups they are supporting and who are truly taking an integral approach to the causes they are addressing. This integral approach includes an educational component for the mind, emotional support for their community, and an embodied approach to their cause - action beyond words.
RUN RICHMOND 16.19 celebrates the achievements of the African American community over the past 400 years. Our symbolic courses of 16.19M, 16.19K, and 6.19M let you touch & feel black history–up close and personal. Organized by the Djimon Hounsou Foundation in collaboration with the Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia and Sports Backers.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000 in support of RUN RICHMOND 16.19. This powerful event commemorates the achievements and sacrifices our African American brothers & sisters have made to our nation.
